Estonia: Ragnar Nurkse Scholarship
Apply for our recently announced Ragnar Nurkse scholarship for international students in the amount of 7,200 euros (deadline May 31st 2012) to study the interdisciplinary Master of Arts program Technology Governance (innovation policy&development economics, taught entirely in English) at Tallinn University of Technology, Estonia.
Students are encouraged to apply on a rolling basis, application deadlines for the MA program vary from May to July depending on students’ origin (non-EU vs EU citizens). There is also a PhD program available in Technology Governance.
The Technology Governance program (2,160 euros tuition for the whole program) is aimed at understanding the global financial crisis, capitalist economies and economic development processes with a focus on developing and transitional countries. It opposes to standard text-book economics taught at most universities and is taught by professors from around the world, including Carlota Perez (Venezuela), Jan Kregel (USA) and Erik S. Reinert (Norway).
