Germany: Post-doc position in quantitative macroeconomics
The Chair of Macroeconomics and Development (Prof. Nicola Fuchs-Schündeln, Ph.D.) at Goethe University Frankfurt is seeking to fill a post-doc position in quantitative macroeconomics, starting on August 1, 2013. The position is initially limited to three years, but renewable for up to another 3 years.
The successful applicant is expected to conduct research in the broad field of quantitative macroeconomics, to present his or her work at conferences, and to actively support activities in the department of money and macroeconomics at Goethe University Frankfurt, including teaching and seminar participation.
The successful candidate needs a PhD in Economics, must have a proven interest in the area of quantitative macroeconomics (dynamic programming, calibration, structural estimation), show strong research potential, and exhibit international experience as well as experience in working with macro and/or micro data sets.
