Eligibility:

  • All candidates must be fluent in spoken and written English. The R&D is highly multidisciplinary.
  • An ideal candidate has an M.Sc. in engineering (e.g. acoustics, environmental engineering, physics).
  • Knowledge of computational modeling and signal processing is a strong advantage Candidates get the opportunity to perform this work as part of a PhD study

  • Early-Stage Researcher (ESR): holds an MSc degree in Engineering and has less than 4 years of experience and has not yet been awarded a doctoral degree.

Scholarship Description: The Department offers a BSc in Building Science (Bouwkunde) and MSc programs in Architecture, Building and Planning and Construction Management and Engineering. Education and research in the Department focus on the development and use of technology for the design and construction of a comfortable, healthy and sustainable built environment. The Department’s philosophy is “Beyond Building”, which reflects our multidisciplinary, integral and innovative approach in the construction, evaluation and improvement of buildings and urban areas. Our research is based on fundamental scientific insights and methods and their application for the built environment.
