Eligibility: One scholarship is available to a student in their third year of any of the following programs at the University of Adelaide:

  • Bachelor of Mathematical Sciences; or
  • Bachelor of Mathematical Sciences (Advanced); or
  • Bachelor of Mathematical and Computer Sciences
  • Students must be undertaking study on a full time basis at the University of Adelaide.
  • Students must be majoring in Mathematics subjects relevant to the physical and biological sciences as determined by the Head of School of Mathematics (or nominee).
  • The scholarship is valued at $5,000 for one year.
  • This scholarship is available to both domestic and international students.

Scholarship Open for International Students: The International and Australian students can apply for this scholarship.

Scholarship Description: This scholarship has been established by William McKee in memory of his late parents to benefit students undertaking studies in Mathematics. The Scholarship must be taken up in the year in which it is offered; acceptance of the Scholarship offer cannot be deferred. If a student declines the Scholarship offer, the Scholarship will be offered to the next eligible student.

Selection criteria:-Selection of the successful candidate will be based on academic merit. -Academic merit will be determined according to applicants’ Grade Point Average [GPA] for level 2 Maths subjects.
